What is the “Japan Life Connection Exchange”?
This is a “place for learning and exchange” where foreign residents in Japan can
learn essential life skills, practice using Japanese, and connect with peers in similar situations. It is not just a classroom where we simply “teach.” While respecting cultural differences, we aim to create a safe space where everyone feels comfortable speaking freely.

Theme 2: Protection—Hospitals and Disasters
To help you live with peace of mind in Japan, we will learn and practice together what to do and how to communicate in case of emergencies, such as illness or natural disasters.
①The Process When You Visit a Hospital
You will learn the steps involved in visiting a hospital and key points to keep in mind during your visit.
②Hospital Reception Role-Play
Let's practice a real-life conversation at a hospital reception desk.
③Disaster (Earthquake) Workshop
We will learn what to do when an earthquake strikes.
By actually speaking and practicing, you’ll be able to stay calm and act appropriately in case of an emergency.
In addition, at the end of the event, there will be time for one-on-one consultations and informal networking .
You’ll have the opportunity to casually discuss any questions you may have and mingle with other participants.

A. Yes, that’s fine. We’ll proceed using simple Japanese. English support is also available if needed.
Q. Can I participate even if I'm alone?
A. Yes, we warmly welcome individuals who wish to participate on their own. Since we keep class sizes small, you can feel at ease joining us.
Q. Is photography or video recording allowed?
A. We may take photos of the event for documentation and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know in advance. We will accommodate your request.
