Housing Rules
1.Do not leave belongings in the hallway
Hallways are shared spaces. Leaving items there can be dangerous as they may block the way in emergencies such as fires. If you notice items left in front of the door, please bring them inside immediately.
2.Do not park outside designated parking areas
Some areas are not permitted for parking. Parking there can block traffic and emergency access, so it is not allowed. Please use coin-operated parking.
3.Do not vacuum at night
Noise travels more than you might think. Please be considerate of people who are sleeping.
4.Do not speak loudly on the balcony
Even outdoors, people live nearby. Loud voices can disturb others.
5.Keep pets only in apartments where they are allowed
Whether pets are allowed depends on the apartment. Please check your contract.
6.Do not put out garbage the day before collection
Rules vary by area, but putting garbage out too early can attract crows and cause bad odors to spread. In some areas, you can put out garbage anytime.
7.Garbage disposal rules vary depending on where you live
Garbage is managed by each municipality. Sorting methods, collection days, and times vary, so be sure to check after moving.
8.Follow local rules for garbage bags.
Some areas require specific garbage bags, while others allow clear or semi-transparent bags. Some areas require clear bags; others have no rules.
Your home is not a completely private space. It is important to be mindful of those around you. Rules and manners exist so that everyone can live comfortably.
